PSN App for Android and iOS updated

Post by yer__mum » 13 Nov 2013, 13:44

You may have to force the update to see new features.

Can send messages and add friends via the app now. Looks like it's being prepared for the PS4.

Enjoy!

The only thing I don't like about this is that it sends a copy of the messages you send via app to your PS3 inbox too. Useless.

Would be nice to get the messages sent on PS3 on the app as well, so we don't have to log on but as it is, still have to log on PS3 to check incoming messages from PS3.

PSN App for Android and iOS updated

Post by yer__mum » 24 Nov 2013, 09:25

It's called

Playstation(R)App
By Sony Computer Entertainment
Version 1.50.0

The (R) being the R with a circle around it for "Registered" but I don't think it needs to be typed. Only saying this cause I've spoken about it to a few people and it's not coming up all the time on searches in the phone stores for some reason. Some have had to look for it a few days later and it just pops up. I even clicked on a link on the web and it never opened up.

I had the original app and I just went to it and pressed the redownload button and it updated automatically. For others, it didn't seem to work as easily.

Meh - Tried to get this, but the google play site is horrendously slow on my Android & in some cases doesn't even load the page.
It's not even available via the marketplace anymore annoyingly enough! :scorn:

You on't be able to find it via the App on your phone (don't ask)

This however should do the trick:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... psxandroid

Only really useful to organise games (so I heard). But my one doesn't even tell me I have a message till I open it.
